Operation Guidelines for Roll Forming Machine

2025-07-03

Pre-Startup Inspection

1. Equipment Appearance: Carefully inspect the roll forming machine body for obvious signs of collision, wear, or deformation. Ensure all components are securely connected without any looseness.

2. Lubrication System: Check the oil levels at lubrication points to ensure sufficient lubricant supply and unobstructed oil circuits, preventing excessive component wear due to poor lubrication.

3. Electrical System: Verify that the power connection is normal, voltage is stable within the specified range, and all control buttons, indicator lights, etc., are undamaged and functioning properly.

Operation Standards

1. Material Preparation: Materials should be pre-screened to remove impurities and hard lumps, ensuring uniformity. Adjust material moisture according to process requirements, as excessively high or low moisture levels will affect forming quality.

2. Parameter Setting: Precisely set parameters such as rolling speed, pressure, and mold dimensions based on product specifications. After startup, run the machine without load for a few minutes to observe whether it operates smoothly and without abnormal noises.

3. Feeding Operation: Feed materials slowly and evenly to avoid blockages from excessive speed or reduced production efficiency from overly slow feeding. Operators must closely monitor the material state during the rolling process.

Runtime Monitoring

1. Equipment Status: Continuously monitor the machine’s operating sounds and vibration levels. If abnormal noises or severe vibrations occur, immediately shut down the machine for inspection to prevent further damage.

2. Product Quality: Periodically sample and inspect rolled products for dimensional accuracy, surface smoothness, and other metrics. Adjust machine parameters or molds promptly if quality issues are detected.

Shutdown and Maintenance

1. Shutdown Procedure: After production concludes, stop feeding first. Wait until all materials inside the machine are processed before turning off the power.

2. Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean residual materials from the machine’s surface and interior. Wipe and lubricate key components to prepare for the next use.
