Steps for Using Molding Machines
1. Preparation:
- Connect the power supply and ensure the equipment is properly grounded.
- Inspect all components of the molding machine to confirm normal operation.
- Verify that the mold is securely installed and accurately positioned.
- Prepare the raw materials to be processed, ensuring their specifications and materials meet the processing requirements.
2. Parameter Setting:
- Based on the shape, dimensions, and other requirements of the workpiece, set relevant parameters on the control panel, such as temperature, pressure, and processing time.
- Parameters vary depending on materials and processing techniques; adhere strictly to the specified process requirements.
3. Feeding Operation:
- Place the prepared raw materials steadily on the feeding device and activate the feeding system to allow the materials to enter the molding machine slowly.
- Maintain a uniform feeding speed to avoid jamming or excessive feeding.
4. Processing:
- Closely monitor the operating status of the equipment during processing, including changes in temperature and pressure, as well as the forming condition of the workpiece.
- If abnormal noises or vibrations occur, stop the machine immediately for inspection.
5. Unloading Operation:
- After processing is complete, allow the workpiece to cool to an appropriate temperature before removing it using the unloading device.
- Handle the workpiece carefully during unloading to prevent damage.
Precautions for Using Molding Machines
1. Safety Protection:
- Operators must wear personal protective equipment, such as safety helmets and protective gloves.
- Do not insert hands or other objects into hazardous areas while the equipment is running.
2. Regular Maintenance:
- Clean, lubricate, and inspect the molding machine regularly, and replace worn parts promptly.
- Calibrate and adjust key components as specified in the equipment maintenance manual to ensure stable performance.
3. Emergency Handling:
- Familiarize yourself with the location of the emergency stop button.
- In case of emergencies, such as equipment failure or personal injury, press the emergency stop button immediately, cut off the power supply, and report to superiors for further action.
