As an important processing equipment, profile forming machines can shape a variety of materials to meet the diverse needs of different industries.  

 

First, metal materials are among the most common materials processed by profile forming machines. Steel, for instance, is widely used, such as ordinary carbon steel, which is affordable and offers good strength. It is commonly employed in the manufacturing of structural profiles for construction, such as scaffolding and steel beams. Stainless steel, renowned for its excellent corrosion resistance, is highly favored in the production of profiles for food processing equipment, chemical pipelines, and decorative applications, such as kitchen equipment frames and architectural railings. For example, plastics such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC) exhibit good chemical resistance, electrical insulation, and ease of processing. They are commonly used to manufacture plastic pipes and profiles, such as drainage pipes for construction and sealing strips for doors and windows. Additionally, fiber-reinforced composites, such as those reinforced with glass fiber or carbon fiber, combine high strength with low density. These materials play a crucial role in the production of profiles for sports equipment, wind turbine blades, and other applications, including badminton rackets, bicycle frames, and large wind turbine blades.
