Pre-Operation Preparations
1. Equipment Inspection : Thoroughly examine all components of the cold rolling forming machine, including rollers, transmission devices, electrical circuits, etc., to ensure there are no signs of looseness or damage. For example, check the roller surfaces for cracks or wear. If any defects are found, repair or replace them promptly to avoid compromising forming quality.
2. Material Preparation : Prepare cold-rolled materials of appropriate specifications according to production requirements, ensuring the surfaces are free of rust, oil stains, or other impurities. For high-precision products, stricter cleanliness standards apply, necessitating prior degreasing and derusting treatments.
3. Lubrication and Cleaning : Lubricate critical parts of the equipment, such as bearings and gears, to ensure smooth operation. Additionally, clean the work area and remove debris to prevent contamination of materials during operation, which could affect product quality.
Operational Precautions
1. Parameter Settings : Strictly adhere to process requirements when setting parameters such as rolling speed and thickness. For products of different specifications, readjust the parameters to ensure dimensional accuracy.
2. Feeding Operation : Feed the material into the cold rolling forming machine steadily, ensuring the feeding direction is perpendicular to the roller axis. Misaligned feeding may cause material deviation, affecting forming quality or even damaging the equipment.
3. Operation Monitoring : Closely monitor the equipment’s operating status and listen for abnormal sounds. If unusual vibrations or noises are detected, stop the machine immediately for inspection to prevent further damage. Simultaneously, observe the material’s forming process for defects like wrinkling or cracking, and adjust process parameters as needed.
Post-Operation Procedures
1. Equipment Cleaning : After operation, disconnect the power supply and clean residual iron scraps, oil stains, etc., from the equipment’s surface and interior. For critical components like rollers, use specialized cleaning agents followed by rust-proof oil application to prevent corrosion.
2. Material Organization : Sort and label leftover materials for proper storage and future use. Finished or semi-finished products should be packaged, labeled, and stored according to regulations.
3. Record-Keeping and Summary : Accurately complete equipment operation logs, including details such as operation time, product specifications, and equipment status. Summarize issues encountered during operation and their solutions to serve as a reference for subsequent production.
