The working principle of the metal plate forming machine mainly covers the following steps:
1. Raw material preparation: first, put the raw materials of the metal plates into the working area of the molding machine. These plates may require pretreatment, such as cleaning, cutting, or grinding, to ensure that their quality meets the molding requirements.
2. Parameter setting: Set the appropriate processing parameters according to the processing requirements. These parameters include temperature, pressure, speed, and mold shape, etc. For processes requiring thermal formation, a appropriate heating temperature is set so that the metal plate achieves an optimal plastic state during deformation.
3. Heating and deformation: For the metal plates that need to be thermoformed, the metal plates are heated to a predetermined temperature range by electric heating, flame heating or induction heating. Then, an external force is applied in the mold to produce a plastic deformation of the metal plate to form the desired shape. This deformation process can be achieved in various ways, including stamping, squeezing, forging or rolling.
4. Cooling and setting: After the deformation is completed, the metal plate is cooled to fix its shape and size. The cooling process can be conducted by natural cooling, air cooling or water cooling. For certain specific metal plates, further heat treatment or surface treatment may be required to improve their physical and mechanical properties.
